BASIC RULES/GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING DESIGNS TO QWERTEE FOR VOTING:

This is where artists/designers can submit their designs to be voted on by Qwertee community members. We use a combination of votes and curated designs to decide what designs we put on sale on Qwertee.com. We will sell your design for a specified period of time (normally 24 hours) and for every shirt/other garment that sells in that 24 hour period we pay you €1 (or USD equivalent) commission. You retain all rights to your artwork, before and after it is on sale on Qwertee. Please only upload designs that are available to print should we decide we want to. We will contact you if we are interested in printing one of your designs.
You should download the Qwertee Shirt Mock Up Kit and instructions on how to use it below to help you create the perfect mockup.
Mockups must be less than 400kb or they will not upload! Mockup Size must be exactly 900x500 pixels. You can upload your image in JPEG format ONLY, just keep file sizes below 400kb or it won't upload! You must show your design on a t-shirt, use our mockup kit below to help you achieve this. Your design must fit within the box on the mockup, that’s the maximum print size. All artwork (including any background images in your mockup etc) must be your own, you have to have created all of it yourself! In the case of a plagiarised design they are always noticed and we will most likely delete your account so don’t do it!
In general designs are limited to 6 colours on dark shirts (every shirt colour except white, sports grey and light blue) and 7 colours on light shirts (not including the shirt colour itself in both cases). No gradients are possible, but you can use halftones to create the illusion of extra colours. We receive too many designs every day to put them all live so there is a basic selection process and not all designs are accepted. If we reject your design we will tell you why. We also select some designs to go into the Newest Designs (Selected) category (which is the default one when you go to the vote page) and some others into the Newest Designs (All) category so if your design is live it will be placed in one of these. Your design must be of a reasonable level of design skill to be accepted, see the current designs as a guide.
Designs have to be approved before going live, this can take up to 48 hours so there will be a delay before you design appears on Qwertee or is rejected.
If you want to see your design go top be sure to use the promote options on your vote page to share your design via Facebook/Twitter etc. Getting people in to vote for your design is key to becoming the most popular design so be sure to do your promotional work to get to the top of the charts!
All designs are up for voting for 3 weeks from when they are approved. Designs that get enough votes will make it to the Top Rated Designs category are more likely to be printed. Designs that did not make the Top Rated Designs category after 2 weeks will be deleted. Top Tip: Don’t submit lots of designs at once, votes will be spread between them and no one design of yours will receive lots of votes. Be sure to spread them out by a few days!

(5) You can see your design in your artist profile and make changes to it before it is approved
(6) Please note if your design is approved it will appear in either the “new designs (selected)” section (this is a selection of the new designs as picked by us) or “new designs (all)” which is all designs that have been approved. by default the voting page shows “new designs (selected)” so if your design has been approved and you can’t see it by default when you go to the voting page it is in the “new designs (all)” section.
Once your design is live be sure to promote it to help get more votes! Thanks again and good luck!
